The workshop consists of two lessons, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, over two days. Customized schedules are available upon request.

• Applying these enhanced skills to create complex design and assembly of your own stained glass art panel, using professional tools and equipment.

Chinese Ink Art
The Ancient Art of Chinese Ink Painting and Calligraphy: A journey into the evolution from pictographs to paintings.

• A brief history of Chinese ink art.
• Experience making organic black ink using a slate stone ink well and stick.
• Learn how to use a bamboo paintbrush. Learn the 5 fundamental strokes of painting and the variations of applying ink to paper to create the desired effect.
• Learn to apply a variation of strokes and combine them to create simple paintings of animals, plants, and scenery. Learn how to create Chinese Pictographs and create art cards.
• An introduction to the five traditional colored ink sticks to dynamically add to each artwork.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to explore a new artistic technique, this session will guide you through the process of creating your very own hand-carved print. Choose from a daffodil, sunflower, or bird design.
Choose one from a selection of designs to transfer onto a soft-cut block.
Use carving tools to create your unique printing block.
Experiment with ink and print multiple copies—no printing press needed!
Take home beautiful prints, perfect for framing or turning into greeting cards.

Inspired by gardens, mid-century modern motifs, and abstract expression, her work blends florals, color, and pattern. Whether teaching beginners or experienced artists, she creates a welcoming space where creativity can flourish.
